BC Minor Baseball Honour Role

Life Members of BCMBA

The history of our Association would not be complete without recognizing those individuals who have provided outstanding leadership and contributed so much to make our organization strong. These include:

2.WALLY FERRARI: President of New Westminster (Western) League, founder of the Hyack Invitational Bronco Tournament. Made life member on retirement in 1968.

3. NELLIE BENNETT: Area Supervisor of Penticton and South Okanagan areas for 7 years. Made life member on retirement in 1977.

4. EILEEN DAWSON: A founding member and one of the key organizers of BCMBA in 1963. Director from 1963 to 1983. The first woman to be placed on the BCABA Role of Honour, Builder Category (1989). Made life member in 1978.

5. ED KUKUCHA: Became President in 1986. Former Vice President and Director. Active in New Westminster Minor Baseball since 1970, including Director of the Hyack Invitational Bronco tournament for many years. Made life member in 1981.

6. CHARLIE LEONARD: Former Vice President and Director. Made life member in 1981. 7. H.J. (RED) WARNER: Area Supervisor for the Kootenays for 20 years. Made life member in 1985.

8. JOHN MAIN: A founding member and Vice President (1963-1965). President (1966-1986). A Director of B.C. Amateur Baseball Association. B.C. representative on the Western Canadian Baseball Association committee. B.C. Director of the Canadian Federation of Amateur Baseball (1965-1970). Placed on BCABA's Role of Honour, Builders Category, in 1984. Made life member of Western Canada Baseball Association in 1988, Made life member in 1986.

9. ED MCKENZIE: Colt Division Coordinator (1972-1986). Director from 1972 to present. Made life member in 1989.

10. DON PAQUETTE: Pony Division coordinator (1969-1986). Director from 1966 to present. Made life member in 1989.

11. FRANK PYBUS: Secretary for five years. Treasurer from 1988 to date. Director from 1981 to date. Active in E. Burnaby baseball in 60's and 70's. Placed on BCABA's Role of Honour, Builders category, in 1990. Made life member in 1989.
