Richmond City Baseball’s inaugural College Prep season is starting a little early this year. The team will be travelling to Mazatlán Mexico March 15th through 20th to prepare for the upcoming regular BC Baseball season. Led by Head Coach Raul Verde Rios, assistant coaches and eleven players will face foreign competition while enjoying some much needed “good weather” and field time.

The team will be practicing and playing against four Midget Select teams of the five local associations: Chololos, Concordia, Mazatlán, Quintero and Mualla. These games will be part of the local regular season schedule games.

In addition team practices and scheduled games the team will also be doing community work in Mazatlán. Team bonding, competition and comradery are important, but learning and experiencing another culture is paramount that helps round this experience in preparation of the upcoming season.
