The Chilliwack Cougars defeated Mission 11-7 in a fantastic game by both teams on Sunday July 26. After a great weekend of baseball, lots of rain and making new friends the Chilliwack Cougars and Mission Twins met in the final match Sunday. The Cougars jumped ahead to a quick 10-0 lead but Mission battled back to make it a very close entertaining game. In the top of the 7th with 2 out and the bases loaded the score was 11-7, the Mission player hit a great hit into shallow left field that the Cougars short stop had to make an amazing back handed catch to end a very entertaining game.

Chilliwack is now off to Kennewick Washington this weekend to represent as team BC in the battle for the bats.

Thank you to Mission for hosting a great tournament especially with all the rain they had to deal with throughout the weekend. Many memories and friendships were made by all teams involved.
