BC Baseball College Prep Richmond City vs. Cloverdale game at "The Nat" June 13th
The league game planned some months ago between Richmond City Chuckers and Cloverdale Nationals of BC Baseball’s College Prep division was played at Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium June 13th.
The game was hosted at Nat Bailey as part of their preseason preparations in advance of the upcoming first Vancouver Canadians home game on June 20th. The game included a full pregame video for the upcoming Canadian’s season, player introductions and national anthems. A special thanks to the staff of the Vancouver Canadians making this night special for those on and off the field.
BC Baseball appreciates the pregame acknowledgement.
With an estimated 300 spectators tonight saw a closely contested game and very highly skilled athletes tonight. College Prep league’s top team Cloverdale ended up defeating league 2nd place team Richmond City 3-0 behind the strong pitching effort of Spencer Pawliw.
Another shoutout to Chef Wasabi for winning the Sushi Race and defeating BC Roll and Kappa Maki quite handily in the first race of the year.
BC Baseball would also like to thank all of the supporters that came out tonight that cheered on both teams.
