The Coaches Caravan rolled in to Kelowna on Thursday afternoon to warm welcome from the players and parents of the Central Okanagan Minor Baseball Association. COMBA is coming off a banner year where their 18U AAA team came home with the 2017 Provincial Championship AND their association won the 2017 BC Baseball Association of the Year honours!

Guy Posella, President and Joe Hobart, 2nd Vice President of COMBA were on site to witness the hard working team of players, parents and Caravan coaches get set up with refreshers and new drills for the 2018 season.

Speaking with one of the attendees, who had coached multiple sports at all levels in the US for the past 10 years, he mentioned that he had never seen anything like the format or calibre of coaching at the grassroots level that the BC Baseball Coaches Caravan offers.

Getting the opportunity to hear feedback not only from our member associations, but from their player and parent members is why BC Baseball works so hard to get out to our member communities. It is with this effort and the commitment from our member associations that we see success in growing youth baseball in BC!
