Fond Farewell in Osoyoos

Posted by BC Baseball Association on Apr 14 2018 at 03:38PM PDT

It was a great event to wrap up the final day of the Caravan’s tour through the Southern Interior! The players and parents of the Osoyoos Minor Baseball Association never disappoint!

Going into their fourth season as an association, the enthusiasm and energy at their park is contagious. Driven by a passion for the game, the 2018 BC Baseball Coaches Caravan was the perfect fit! All 150 players, parents, and coaches were fully engaged and absorbing the drills, strategies and philosophies shared by the Caravan Crew.

President of OMBA, Jason Bartsch shared the importance of the Coaches Caravan, as the only program of it’s kind in Canada, and the impact it has on promotion of youth baseball in his community. Jason and the members of OMBA have seen explosive growth through their hard work, and this growth has manifested in a new permanent ball field in Osoyoos! Job well done OMBA and the Town of Osoyoos for helping youth get into an amazing game!

Next the Caravan Crew will be sailing off to Vancouver Island!
