15U , 16U, 13U Selects

The B.C. Minor Bantam Selects just may be headed to the World Series.

After Province wide tryouts as many as 40 players will attend a development camp June 5-7. At which point 15 to 18 players will compete in a major U.S. tournament, quite possibly the Ken Griffey World Series in July. Also on tap is the 15U Can-Am tournament June 19-21, a great opportunity to compete against top American and B.C. teams on a 90-foot diamond.

This is all part of B.C. Minor’s progressive move to increase Player Development at all levels. High Performance coaches, including Dave Empey and Bill Green, will supervise the instruction.

Once again, the 16U Selects will hold a three-day development camp in June and then return to the CABA July 4 Classic in Fremont, California. This is an encore for B.C. Minor’s 16U team who were outstanding in the tournament last season after a highly successful camp.

What’s more, after tryouts the 13U Selects will compete in the 2015 CABA World Series in Grapevine, Texas in June.

The BCMBA will select coaches, through an application process, to attend the development camps for 13U, 15U and 16U.
