A Tie for Father's Day

Thanks for the tie today, Marlins! The coaches and all the dads loved it haha. No, we'd rather have won. But after giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead right off the bat, it was good the boys came back and scored enough to tie it. Then we didn't get a chance to win it when we lost our ump.

Even though Andy wasn't feeling well he still played and pitched through like a trooper; Dom came into pitch flawlessly for four innings and retired all the batters he faced. Then Sully capped it off with a great one-inning performance despite not having played in a week.

Our hitting today was so-so, but we got a couple of key hits when we needed it. Dom hit very well.

I think all the in-house teams will start to even out a little bit, and we'll start seeing more teams step up and win that weren't before. Especially as playoffs loom and teams are starting to gel more. So the Marlins will have to always be focused and always on.

We have the late game this Tuesday at 7:30pm. Be at the fields by 6:45pm.

See you Tuesday.
