Team BC, Cloverdale Nationals, the 2018 BC Baseball College Prep Champions, started their first game in the 18u College Elite Showcase Wood Bat Tournament in Flemington New Jersey with Tyson McInnes on the bump vs North Jersey Bandits, both teams gave up first inning runs to the lead off batter and Team BC added 2 more in the 2nd inning before both starters settled down. Team BC executed a double steal from 1st and then from 3rd on the throw to 2 and then scored another to tack on 2 in the bottom of 5. The Bandits got one back in the top of the 7th before Tyson completed the game. Make the final, 5-2 Team BC in 1 hour 50 minutes.
