Once again the top tier of BC Baseball’s 18U program has demonstrated their true mettle in a “knock down, drag ’em out” series of games on Saturday with all six contenders locking in a three way tie forcing a final showdown between all six teams tomorrow!

The Cloverdale Nationals went down in a nail biter losing 3-2 to the Kamloops Riverdogs and then bounced back hard with a convincing 20-7 victory over the ’Dogs.

Richmond City Chuckers stumbled out of the gate dropping their game first game 11-0 to the Tri City Thunder. A quick reset and recovery saw them swing back with a 2-0 win over Tri City.

In the third series, the West Kelowna D Backs cruised to a 6-2 triumph over the Ridge Meadows Royals in game one and seemed to be in control of game two but could not suppress the fire power of Ridge Meadows sticks as the Royals surged back to take the second game 10-9.

This sets up a very exciting SUPER SUNDAY that has all six teams in the do or die game three showdowns the winners of those games move on to the BC Baseball CPL Final Four playoff weekend!
