Lorne Kenneth Upsdell, a successful Businessman & retired Baseball Coach, long-time resident of Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows, peacefully passed away into Heaven on June 26th 2018.

Lorne started his longevity of coaching baseball of young boys, winning Provincial and Western Canadian Championships and having the honour of being inducted into the Ridge Meadows Hall of Fame.

Lorne, a long standing coach of Ridge Meadows Baseball served several years as a 13U (Peewee) coach with an outstanding resolve towards the development of players who, under his tenor, learned how to play the game right. The impact he had on the lives of so many will carry on as his legacy.
